Is it a crime to input someones information for a product or service as a joke?
If someone requests information for you (ie school information, products) and uses your email address and phone number to be contacted without you knowing, and that place calls you, is it a crime?
Go online to fill out an information request form (the most common are for proprietary schools) That school then contacts the person, who didnt ask for the information. Is that a crime?

Yes. It is and can be prosecutedunder several things. Identity theft, fraud by deception, misrepresentation.

I dont know but I’ve done it for a ton of things….playboy, vocational schools, free deodorant, you name it…I once did about two items for one of my friends, I never did find out what happend. But it’s fun…send me your name, address, and phone number and let me order you some items!
