One of the Biggest Mistakes you Can Make in MLM
One of the biggest Mistakes you can make in MLM is taking part in multiple opportunities at the same time.
I see sooooo many people jump from opportunity to opportunity like their life depended on it. STOP DOING THAT!
By refusing to stay focused on ONE opportunity for an extended period of time, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Think of it kind of like being a hunter. Let’s assume you are hunting deer and you’ve got your trusty rifle. You see a deer on your left, one on your right, and one in front of you.
Now here’s my question to you…
Can you shoot all 3 at the same time?
Of course you cant…you have to take them 1 at a time.
And the same goes for your success in Multi-Level-Marketing
I think that part of the problem comes because people misunderstand this idea of “multiple streams of income”
Achieving multiple streams of income is great, but you don’t achieve it by jumping in 3 programs at the same time
If you want multiple sources of income then start with ONE. And then once that ONE is making you money on a residual basis then you can take some of your earnings and invest it into another stream of income.
Isn’t it funny how EVERY new opportunity that comes along sounds even better than the previous one? Well the reality is this…
Assuming that that the company is legit then your chances of making money are good, IF, you decided to focus on only that opportunity.
One of the traits that separates the Successful from the un-successful is that successful people understand the importance of commitment and consistency.
If you want to make 5 figures a month in your current MLM Program then you must look at it kind of like wanting to lose 30 pounds.
You don’t lose 30 pounds by going to the gym for 8 hours a day 5 days
in a row. You lose 30 pounds by going to the gym consistently for
90 days for 1 hour a day at least 3 times a week.
Your success is made up of a bunch of little tiny actions taken over time. It’s kind of like the age old question:
How do you eat an elephant?
ONE BITE AT A TIME
You have to chunk things up into small bite size pieces or you will get overwhelmed.
So remember….You are heading in the wrong direction if you think that you are going to become successful or achieve multiple streams of income by being involved in several programs at the same time. Trust me when I tell you that you are just shooting yourself in the foot.
Find 1 program, but your blinders on, be committed to do whatever it takes for at least 90 days, and then start kicking butt and taking names!

Traditional Owners and Law Custodians are threatening legal action to stop the proposed development of the biggest LNG precinct in the world, just north of Broome. Joe Roe, Goolarabooloo and Neil McKenzie from Jabirr Jabirr with representatives from Save the Kimberley traveled to Perth last week to meet with the Browse Basin joint venture partners.
The Kimberley Land Council (KLC) has been representing traditional owners in talks with Woodside and the WA Government over the proposed James Price Point LNG precinct. Over 200 TOs have signed a declaration claiming the KLC has no right to negotiate on their behalf.
Dissident traditional owner Neil McKenzie says he will do whatever it takes to stop the development. “There are a lot of issues that are of concern to us and we will challenge them in whatever way, if it’s legally or whatever other challenge we can find we will use,” he said.
Disgruntled at KLC, WAs Department of State Development and Barnetts modus operandi, the true owners who are opposed met with Browse Basin joint venture partners to inform them that the propaganda continually alleged by both the state and KLC, that this proposal is supported by the traditional people is totally misleading. (This issue is really about Land Rights vs Human Rights and I will elaborate of this topic in the New Year)
There have been several calculated feints, highlighted with theatrical performances like the reprehensible illegal signing of the Heads of Agreement at James Price Point and more recently the signing off on Heritage Protection. Genealogy for this Country is still sitting on the table.
How can anyone legally sign away anything, least of all negotiate a Indigenous Land Use Agreement, whilst the majority is still piecing together their blood connections to Country, dealing with all the regurgitated sorry business that is coming with it and trying to manage the knowledge of it all.
Apparently, all the joint venture partners were generally very surprised to hear that the majority of Indigenous people from this Country do not want this development. It was explained that many people have very strong heritage ties and cultural responsibilities for the maintenance, care and protection of Country.
In the coming New Year we will restate and action our commitment to saving James Price Point for the people and for the planet. We will continue to express our concerns about the highly questionable approval processes being employed and the current negotiations and social and environmental damages assessments that are currently being white washed for publication.
The state government is the proponent for this project; the state government decides which boxes to tick, the state government employs and pays the researchers and consultants to tick the boxes and the state government will approve all the ticks and will forward on, to get that one last big tick from the Minister Garrett.

The key to most of Internet marketing is search engine optimisation. The key to good
search engine optimisation is keyword research. In other words, knowing which keywords or search terms people are using to find what they’re looking for on the Internet. If keyword research is done properly then there is no doubt that you will get highly targeted visitors to your website. This is obviously the professional way of going about things. It is the antithesis to the "spam" approach (unsolicited commercial emails) which achieves extremely poor results and simply annoys anyone unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end.
But which search engine should you optimise for? The search engine of choice at the
moment is Google. There are two good reasons for this. Firstly, Google is the most popular search engine on the Internet today. It is known for the quality and relevance of its search results, and so people trust it. Secondly, over the last couple of years Google has joined alliances with other search engines and directories. Yahoo, the world’s most popular directory, uses Google’s database, so if you have a first page listing on Google you are likely to have a first page listing on Yahoo as well.
AOL and Netscape also share Google’s search findings, so you’ll have similar search
results on the AOL and Netscape databases. Other lesser databases also rely on Google,
so that if you are well represented on Google, then you’ll be well represented on over sixty per cent of Internet search facilities.
You should also obtain a listing on the Open Directory Project (DMOZ.org) which is not much known about but very well respected in the search engine optimisation industry. The Open Directory does not use the normal search engine "spiders" or robot searchers; instead it uses over thirty thousand volunteer human editors who are ostensibly experts in their own fields. The theory behind this is that it ensures relevancy, accuracy and quality of all listings. A listing in DMOZ will therefore ensure a listing on Google and probably earn you an enhanced ranking there. Then all the others, like Yahoo, AOL, Netscape and the rest are bound to follow.
Optimisation is everything. The Applied Web Marketing website itself has the number
one position on Google out of 1.47 million search results for the search term "applied
web marketing".
After optimisation is the submission process. Perceived wisdom of the moment says it is best to submit manually. Manual submissions to dozens of search engines and
directories can be very time-consuming, however. There are some good automated and
semi-automated software packages available out there to do the submissions for you.
But for the major players do find the time for manual submissions. Some search
engines, for example Alta Vista, make it impossible for automated submission by
software programs, because of individualised text codes that must be entered by hand at the start of the submission process, so you have to submit to Alta Vista manually as well. But that just takes about three minutes.
Don’t bother with ads that say that they can "blast your web site to 500,000 search
engines". There aren’t that many search engines; there’s only a few hundred in total, and only about a dozen of any major importance. You’ll just pay your money and be very disappointed. Most of these so-called search engines are link farms, FFA or free-for-all sites, which nobody every looks at, and which are responsible chiefly for sending out spam. If you link to such web sites you risk being penalised by the bona fide search engines.
The next thing to have lots of is patience. A listing on Google should probably appear
within a couple of weeks if you have optimised your pages properly (incidentally, if you have multiple pages on your web site, as is mostly the case, it is important only to submit the index or home page, and let Google’s spider "Googlebot" to find and index the other pages itself using the links that you should have set up on your site.
